can be embedded into blog or wiki!

VoiceThread - also has an embed code. Has a teacher account also, but it is $60 a year. Some people are disagreeing. Could be good to upload video.

Glogster - similar to a scrapbook - there are two versions - education glogster blocks inappropriate pages.
You can also link videos with this with embed code
interesting application for capturing steps for science (for example)
can link different accts (Quia, Quizzlet)
Read/spell with Flickr(metaatem.net/words/) - good for early learners to show how some letters look different or for presentations.

Bighugelabs.com - can create motivational posters!!!! And you can put the picture in there. Can also create trading cards that you can embed for historical figures or scientists. Can creat puzzles with photos. Embed codes for all.

Animoto - can also use drawings... quick way to create a film... embeddable

Bubbl.us- mind mapping tool - can be used by one person or in collaboration with others.

ClustrMaps - good for Geography

Wordle- good for brainstorming terms

MyPlick- place to upload a powerpoint

Moonk.com - another place to upload a movie

slideroll - similar to slideshare

Slideshare (does this to video and sound?)

Pixton.com- fun and easy to use...can print or embed.has a whole gallery of backgrounds, characters, bubbles, etc.

Google Calenders - can be embedded into wiki or blog
can keep professional and personal calenders... or for different classes

Create a Graph pretty clear - can be embedded.

Shelfari- online bookshelf - students can rate the books
